Refugees are people who have been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.
Special Immigrant Visa refugees (SIVs) are Afghan and Iraqi nationals who supported the U.S. Armed Forces as translators or interpreters, or were employed by or on behalf of the U.S. Government in Afghanistan or Iraq.
A fiscal year is the twelve-month period that an organization uses for budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
